JENN NIMMO-SMITH

Jennifer Nimmo-Smith is a senior publicist for the music & events industries.

She has 10 years professional experience working in PR and communications and as founder of specialist agency Electric Shores, has led international campaigns for a stellar line-up of clients including Electric Fields festival, Riverside Festival, Soma Records, Wide Days and Stag & Dagger.

As well as working with large scale festivals and events, Jenn has a real passion for working with up & coming artists and helping them gain traction in an ever-changing media landscape.

Prior to founding Electric Shores, Jennifer was head of press at Chuff Media in London where she worked on PR campaigns for London Grammar, James Blake, Kings of Leon, Foo Fighters, Lady Gaga and Daft Punk.

A regular on the Scottish music scene she looks after the PR for the legendary duo Slam working closely with them on their 2 monthly nights in Glasgow – Return to Mono and Maximum Pressure and on their array of international parties. She also recently ran the Scottish PR campaign for The Spree and artists campaigns for LILURA and Future Get Down.

She has been a guest speaker at a number of UK Music events where she has spoken of her passion for the music industry.
