STUART FLEMING

SENIOR MANAGER, PRS FOR MUSIC

With a background as a songwriter & producer, Stuart has worked in both the creative and business side of the music industry. Having worked for both major and independent record labels, he progressed to the management and touring side of the industry whilst continuing to be a published songwriter in his own right.

More recently Stuart also ran a collective & independent development label in Dundee, working with several self-releasing artists.

At present, Stuart is the Senior Membership Manager in Scotland & Northern Ireland for PRS for Music, a non-profit making membership society of over 135,000 songwriters, composers, arrangers of traditional music and music publishers.

His role sees him work with many of the most successful Scottish and Northern Irish songwriters and composers of the modern era, whilst creating wider industry partnerships and career development opportunities for emerging writers. He has created a number of platforms for developing song writing, composition and business skills across both countries.
