Join us online December 12th for a free evening of sessions on digitally releasing, creating a release campaign and securing funding for your work. Our industry guests will explore the steps for getting your music on streaming platforms, pitching for playlists and media coverage and the funds available to support your work. 

You'll gain valuable insights into releasing structures, how to get your music in front of the right people and hear top tips for applying for funding to support your work. 

After the sessions you'll have the chance to network with fellow creatives as well as industry professionals.

UK Funding Organisations are on hand to give a round up of how they operate, the funds and grants they have available and what support systems they have for emerging music creators across Scotland.

Creative Scotland is the public body that supports the arts, screen and creative industries across all parts of Scotland on behalf of everyone who lives, works or visits here.They enable people and organisations to work in and experience the arts, screen and creative industries in Scotland by helping others to develop great ideas and bring them to life.

They distribute funding from the Scottish Government and The National Lottery.


 

EmuBands provide a simple but powerful digital music distribution service for artists, and record labels, to sell music online through the world's major digital music services. In a non-exclusive deal, artists and labels earn 100% of the royalties generated from sales/streams, and maintain full ownership and control of their rights, and with a simple one-off pricing model, there are no annual fees.


PPL licenses radio stations, TV broadcasters and certain digital media services to play recorded music in the UK as part of their programming. They also license music suppliers to copy recorded music for services such as in-store music systems, jukeboxes, compilations for exercise classes and in-flight entertainment systems.


PRS Foundation fund new music and talent development across all genres. They invest in the future of music by supporting talent development and new music across the UK; enabling songwriters and composers of all backgrounds to realise their potential and reach audiences across the world.
