Help Musicians have announced a new round of funding. Support is available to musicians of all genres and disciplines with a focus on independent music creators who are controlling one or more aspects of their career (e.g. self-managing, self-releasing, self-producing).

The fund will support artists to focus on three key areas of their careers, making music, business development and health and wellbeing.

Those awarded the fund will receive 1:1 business advice sessions tailored to specific artist needs, delivered by a range of industry professionals coordinated by ThinkMusic. 1:1 Health and Wellbeing sessions delivered by the British Association for Performing Arts Medicine (BAPAM), covering all aspects of a musician’s health including physical and mental health needs with specialist referrals where required and £3,000 in financial support for creative output.

Applications close March 15th and applicants will be contacted about their award on April 19th with the funding period beginning May 2021.
